- On our high-altitude treks, your guide will keep a record of your well-being and any medical concerns you may have
- Each guest has their own privately kept page in our Medical Checklist Book with daily vitals, & pulse O2 saturation tests
- On our high altitude treks, your guide will carry a complete state-of-the-art first aid kit, including a Gamow Bag Hyperbaric Chamber
- Dr. Phil Levy is the WWTrek medical advisor who oversees all of our medical protocols and is available to consult with our guests
- Dean Cardinale has served as representative to the International Commission for Alpine Rescue and served as the president of Wasatch Backcountry Rescue (WBRgroup) for more than a decade
- WWTrek has partnered with Global Rescue to ensure that rescue is available in the event that it becomes necessary
- Each guest should have their own rescue insurance policy in place before coming on any of our treks and we can help you purchase a plan through our corporate office
