Blue Lagoon

Located in a lava field, The Blue Lagoon is a major attraction for adventurers in Iceland. This man-made lagoon has its water harvested from a local geothermal power station. The water is notorious for its vibrancy, caused by high amounts of silica found in the soft white mud on the lake floor. Enjoy the relaxing waters!

Magma Chamber

Extend your stay with a trip to a Magma Chamber! Discovered in 1974 by Árni B Stefánsson, Thrihnukagigur is the only volcano in the world where visitors can take an elevator safely into the magma chamber. An estimated 4,000 years have passed since the last eruption, and the magma inside is believed to have drained away, leaving the magma chamber completely open, a true scientific marvel.
